Dan the Tool Man

Not only do we need YOU, but we need your TOOLS!

Please check out the list below, and call Dan Garbinski at 272-6451 to arrange for drop off or pick up of your tools.  They will be checked into the inventory, inspected, labeled, and you will be given a receipt.  We have arranged for 24-hour security on our tool trailer.  Volunteers are at liberty to come and go from the site, but the tools will remain.  We guarantee that tools that have been checked in will be returned in as good as or better condition than we received them.  If broken or damaged, they will be repaired or replaced.  Hammer, pencil, gloves, tool-belt and safety glasses are recommended and can travel with you.

Can you donate the usage of any of the following tools?

• Screw guns
• Orbital jigsaws
• Electric drills, 3/8 inch, heavy duty reversible
• Electric extension cord, 25 foot
• Hammers
• Levels, 36” or longer preferred
• Nail punches
• Rakes – metal garden rakes, not plastic or bamboo leaf rakes
• Routers – be sure 3/8 inch corner-round bits fit the routers
• Saws, circular – hand held, heavy-duty 7 to 7 1/4 inch preferred
• Shovels – long handled spades preferred
• Stepladders, 6-8 ft. OSHA rated
• Stepladders, 10 or 12 ft. OSHA rated
• Tape Measures, 8 foot & longer, prefer 25 foot tapes
• Wheelbarrows – suitable for concrete mixing and transporting

If you would like to donate tools outright (rather than loan), the donated items will be given to the Lely High School Construction Training Program after the build.

NOTE: NO BATTERY OPERATED ITEMS needed for the build due to the charging requirements.
