Volunteers needed to build Mackle Park Playground

Here’s your chance to be a part of Marco Island’s history, by volunteering to help build the new playground at Mackle Park.

You don’t need building experience – but if you have any, that’s better still. There is a wide variety of volunteer positions available, from child care (while their parents work) to helping with food, tools, painting, and keeping things in motion. Even children are invited to help.

Building Week is March 8 – 13, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be three work shifts throughout the day.

You may volunteer for more than one committee.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be there as the playground begins to rise.
